The iPhone 16 design has seemingly been confirmed thanks to a leaked schematic. This information comes from Majin Bu, a well-known tipster, especially when it comes to Apple-related stuff.
The iPhone 16 design gets revealed thanks to a leaked schematic
If you take a look at the image below, you’ll see the iPhone 16 schematic. It shows the device from all sides, basically. This phone will be easy to set apart thanks to a new camera layout on the back. Its cameras will be vertically aligned, but there will still be two of them back there
Majin Bu also showed us an iPhone 16 render based on that schematic, in collaboration with @upintheozone. You can check out the gallery below. This does give us a better look at the phone, that’s for sure.
You can clearly see that the Dynamic Island will once again be included, and that the action button will sit on the left-hand side, above the separate volume up and down buttons.
The front and the back sides of the phone will once again be flat, as will its frame all around. That frame will have slight curves towards the edges, though, just so the phone is more comfortable to hold… similar to the current-gen models.
Its rear cameras will protrude on the back, of course, and a Type-C port will sit at the bottom of the phone. That’s a given at this point, as all iPhone 15 models include that port, but it’s worth noting.
There will be two differentiating points compared to the iPhone 15, in terms of the design
The main change, design-wise, is the camera setup on the back. It looks notably different than on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. In addition to that, the iPhone 16 will include an Action Button on the left side, instead of the alert slider
This smartphone will launch in September this year, alongside its siblings. Four smartphones are expected once again, the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
