Google One is the company’s cloud storage platform, and subscribers often have additional perks along with the storage. While this is the case, people believe that there’s a ton of potential for other services to be included as perks. Well, these users are finally getting their wish, as Google One is adding Fitbit and Nest Aware plans.
Recently, Google launched Gemini Advanced. This is the most advanced version of Gemini available for common users. Gemini Advanced is a perk of the Google One AI Premium plan that costs $19.99/month. This is just another example of Google adding additional services to Google One.
Google adds Fitbit and Nest Aware to Google One
So, this is a bittersweet story. Starting off with the good news, Google is finally offering subscriptions to Fitbit and Nest Aware. Google started sending emails to Google One users with the $9.99/month plan telling them that Fitbit has been added to their plans. Fitbit gives you perks such as personalized health insights, 1000+ guided workout videos, and more.
What’s neat is that it’s been added at no extra charge. Users are also getting a subscription to Nest Aware added to their Google One plan. Nest Aware gives you several types of alerts along with 30 days of video history.
These are all being added to one of the most affordable Google One tiers. This is the plan that grants you 2TB of cloud storage. So, that’s a pretty sweet deal.
As for the bad news, this is only available in the UK for the moment. At this point, we don’t know when to expect this to make it to other markets. However, it’s still nice to know that Google is bringing its subscriptions together. There are people out there who use Google One, Fitbit devices, and Nest devices. No one wants to pay for separate subscriptions for all of them. Having a combined service will probably ensure that more people will use these services.
