Best Buy has a great deal on the LG Flex 42 OLED TV that you aren’t going to want to miss. The regular full retail price for this TV sits around $3,000 if you pick it up from LG. It’s also usually priced at about $2,500 from Best Buy. However, Best Buy has it on sale currently for $1,980. Saving you either $520 or $1,020 depending on how you look at it.
So what makes this TV so special? Well, for starters, it has a bendable OLED screen. You read that right. The “Flex” in the name isn’t just a name. The display will bend to become a curved panel if you want something that looks a little more immersive. The bendable screen is already a very cool trick. But it gets even better. LG has designed the TV so that it has varying levels of curve you can apply to the display. There are 20 levels of curve in total. And it goes all the way up to a 900R curve.
This all happens with a single button press, too. Outside of the curved panel, this TV has loads of other cool features. For gamers, it comes with NVIDIA GeForce NOW built-in. So you can access the app and then play games without a PC or console. All you need is an internet connection. It also supports G-Sync and FreeSync, it comes with multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and it has an anti-reflective coating to help cut down on glare. Additionally, the TV can swivel and tilt, and you can even adjust the height of it. So between all of that and the curve you can apply to it, you can find the perfect angle for your enjoyment.
It also has a native 120Hz refresh rate. Which is going to be excellent for those who do want to use this for gaming.
