The Moto Razr 50 Ultra could launch as the Moto Razr+ 2024 in the US market. The predecessor Moto Razr 40 Ultra was a beautiful-looking clamshell foldable. As we are inching towards the launch of a successor, leaked specs and rumors about the Razr+ 2024 have also started surfacing on the web. In the latest news, Smartprix has revealed most of the leaked specs of the Razr+ 2024 smartphone.
According to the publication, the Razr 50 Ultra (or the Moto Razr+ 2024) launch is imminent at this point. Similar to the predecessor, the Moto Razr+ 2024 will offer a 6.9-inch 2640 x 1080p flexible OLED display. The outer cover display will also reportedly retain the same 3.6″ size.
Moto Razr+ 2024 leaked specs hint at an upgraded camera system
Speaking of the internals, the device will have an upgraded 50MP dual-camera setup on the back. It will include a 50MP main and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera. For context, the Razr 40 Ultra equips a 12MP main and a 13MP ultrawide camera on the rear. Speaking of the front, however, it will be the same 32MP selfie camera.
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra will run on the newly released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It will be paired with 12GB memory and 256GB storage.
To power the system, the device will boast a 4000 mAh battery. It is also an upgrade over the Moto Razr 40 Ultra’s 3800 mAh capacity. It will reportedly support both wired and wireless charging. The device will also come with an IPX8 dust and water-resistance rating as an upgrade over the water-repellent coating of the predecessor. It is not only good for the electronics inside, but also the hinge components.
The Moto Razr+ 2024 will run on Hello UI, a custom skin from Motorola that is based on Android 14. Notably, the Moto Razr+ 2024 will be the company’s first clamshell foldable with integrated AI-powered photo/video capture and AI editing tools. We have already seen similar AI-powered tools in the latest flagships from Samsung, Google, and some other smartphone makers.
Moto Razr+ 2024 color options and pricing
The phone will be available in three different colors – Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Hot Pink. We previously reported that the Moto Razr 50 Ultra could cost the same as its predecessor. According to the latest leak, the phone will retail in the US for $999 for the 12GB+256GB memory and storage configuration. The device may launch in June 2024.
