For a few months now, we’ve been hearing about this joint venture between Disney, Fox and Warner Bros Discovery, that is set to launch this Fall. But the companies had been pretty tight lipped about what it would be called, and even the pricing of the sports streamer. Well, now we know some of these details.

It’ll be called Venu Sports, and it is going to offer an introductory rate of $42.99 per month. Those that take advantage of this introductory rate will be able to lock that price in for 12 months, though you can still cancel at anytime. Venu Sports will also offer a 7-day free trial, before you pay anything. The standard price hasn’t been announced yet, and likely won’t for quite some time.

Venu Sports will offer over a dozen linear sports networks including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ABC, Fox, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, TBS, and truTV. with events from the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, international soccer, championship golf, F1, Grand Slam Tennis and much more. Making it a pretty well-rounded sports streaming service. It will also include iconic sports studio shows and on-demand content.

Can Venu Sports succeed in this very competitive industry?

Cord-cutting is pretty competitive. That’s because there are so many different services available, and many people don’t want to subscribe to them all. As that does get pretty expensive. And one thing that has kept some from fully cutting the cord has been, sports. Venu Sports wants to change that. It wants to offer all of the sports content that Disney, Fox and WBD broadcast, in one service.

The other issue is that sports is expensive. If you take a look at a streaming Live TV service like YouTube TV and see how much they are paying to carry each channel, the sports channels are far more expensive. Looking at the number of sports networks that are included in this service, the price is actually really good. Though, we don’t know the standard price yet, which is likely to be above $60/month.
