This carrier might double your Pixel 9 storage

The Google Pixel 9 series is set to be the next major release from the company, and we’re all excited to see what they’ll offer. Unfortunately, it looks like these phones will start with 128GB of storage, even the $1,099 Pixel 9 Pro XL. Well, according to a new leak, it looks like Vodafone will double your Pixel 9 storage if you order from it.

The clock’s ticking! Google’s next Pixel event is set to go down in just a few days. It’s going to happen on August 13th, so it’s just half a week away. During the event, Google’s going to announce the new Pixel 9 series of phones along with the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro 2. There’s a lot to look forward to, so be sure to mark your calendar.

Vodafone might double your Pixel 9 storage

The pre-order period is the best time to buy a device, as that’s when customers are the most eager to get their devices into your hands. They usually have some sweet pre-order deals that either grant you discounts, free devices, and other goodies. Samsung is known for offering storage upgrades for its phones.

Well, UK-based carrier Vodafone sees the value in this, as it might do the same thing for the Pixel 9 series. According to a leak from Roland Quandt (via Android Authority), the company will offer a free storage upgrade on all of the Pixel 9 devices.

So, for all of the non-folding phones, you’ll get the 256GB variant for the price of the 128GB variant. If you opt for a pro model, you’ll have the option to get the 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB variant in addition to the aforementioned deal. Lastly, you can get the 1TB Pixel 9 Pro XL variant for the price of the 512GB variant along with the other two deals.

As for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, you’ll get the 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB variant. That’s the only offer for the Fold.

Remember

Depending on the model you pick up, you could be saving between £180 and £324. If you want to capitalize on this deal, you’ll want to order this phone before September 3rd.

Just note that this deal will only apply to Vodafone. Other carriers may offer their own deals. Also, this is based on a page that was released early, so there’s always the chance that Vodafone could walk this back. Keep an eye on the website when Google officially announces phones.
