Xiaomi working on a device with a 7,500mAh battery & 100W charging

Xiaomi is currently developing a device with a 7,500mAh battery and 100W charging. That is only one of the devices that the company is currently developing, though. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the most prominent tipsters out there.

Xiaomi is developing a device with a 7,500mAh battery, and five additional models

That smartphone will be able to fully charge in 63 minutes, allegedly. There is also a model with a 7,000mAh battery and 120W charging support. That variant can charge in only 49 minutes.

In addition to those two devices with huge batteries, Xiaomi also has four other models. The company is allegedly testing devices with a 5,000mAh battery and 120W charging, along with a phone with a 5,500mAh battery and 100W charging. The latter will be able to fully charge in only 18 minutes.

On top of that, two additional models have been mentioned. A phone with a 6,000mAh battery is being tested, and it’s equipped with 120W charging. That phone can fully recharged in 34 minutes, allegedly.

Devices with battery capacities around 6,000mAh are also being considered

The last device mentioned by Digital Chat Station is a phone with a 6,500mAh battery and 100W charging. That smartphone can fully recharge in 30 minutes, says the tipster.

Do note that while all of these devices are being tested or considered, not all of them will see the light of day. We’re not even sure that those devices with 7,000mAh+ batteries are phones.

It remains to be seen which of these will actually see the light of day. It is worth noting that the Xiaomi 15 series is tipped to use silicon carbon batteries with capacities of around 6,000mAh, though.

The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to arrive later this year. In fact, we expect the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro to launch in October. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will likely arrive at a later date, possibly in Q1 2025.
