New iPhone, same old Peak Design case. Peak Design is launching its Everyday Case for the iPhone 16 today, which comes in a slew of colors. We actually got a chance to check these out at IFA last week in Berlin. Which included the Midnight, Sage and Redwood colors.
These cases work with all of Peak Design’s accessories, since it does support SlimLink. And it does support MagSafe, which is definitely a good thing to see. MagSafe is such a great feature, and I can’t wait for Android devices to take full advantage of it with Qi2.
The Peak Design Everyday Case is made of nylon, giving it a premium look and feel. While also making it very easy to hold onto. Part of that is due to the loop available on some models. Making it easier to hold onto, especially while riding a bike or scooter.
SlimLink is like MagSafe but better
SlimLink is Peak Design’s system for their accessories, which allows things like bike mounts, wallets and more attach to your phone with ease. It’s a really versatile system that lets you do just about anything with it. However, this does require buying these mounts from Peak Design since most other companies don’t support SlimLink. But on the bright side, MagSafe is still here and has a lot of support. Plenty of other MagSafe products were announced last week at IFA.
The fact that these cases do support both MagSafe and Peak Design’s SlimLink is a really big deal, and it makes it even more versatile.
If you’re a Peak Design fan like I am, this is going to be the case that you’ll want for your new iPhone 16. Peak Design is making it available for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. And it’ll cost $49.95, shipping should start very soon too.
