Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 pre-orders are live

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 back on September 3, and now you can pre-order this new laptop as pre-orders are now live. The latest in Samsung’s ultra-slim laptop line, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 is a laptop with many tricks up its sleeve.

It sticks to a few tried and true features that you’ll find in just about every modern laptop, while adding a few new unique features to capture your attention and look good while doing it. One of the more notable features, however, is that this is a 2-in-1 laptop. So that means it has versatility, and that kind of capability is just what you want if you need something that can multitask.

Specifically, you can use this like any other laptop. With the keyboard in front of you and the screen facing you. The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 can also be propped up in tent mode for viewing, whether that viewing is for presentations or sharing stuff with others, or just binge-watching your favorite shows. Additionally, you can flip the keyboard back behind the screen and just the whole thing like a tablet if you feel like it, which is great for browsing the web and social media.

Pre-order the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 starting at $1,699.99

If you’re looking to get your hands on Samsung’s new Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, you’ll have to wait until the first of October. It starts shipping out on October 1, but you can pre-order it starting today. It’s available at $1,699.99 and you can secure yours through both Best Buy and Samsung.

There’s only one model on offer so there aren’t any tough choices to make regarding configurations. The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 comes with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM so you get a decent amount of space for stuff, and plenty of memory for running tasks.

It’s also running on the series 2 version of Intel’s Core Ultra 7 CPU. The reason this is such a big deal is because the new series 2 Intel Core Ultra chips are way more energy efficient than the series 1 chips. So you can expect good battery life here with the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. There’s a decent amount of ports too, with HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, a media card reader, and more present on the sides.

Enhanced AI features to make the user experience more pleasant

Samsung’s Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 isn’t just a 2-in-1 laptop, it’s also a Copilot PC with baked-in AI features. One of those features is Google’s Circle to Search feature. You’ve seen this on Google’s Pixel devices and even Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series. As well as Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. But this might be the first time it’s popped up on a laptop. Circle to Search isn’t necessarily the most powerful AI tool out there. It sure is convenient though, and it’ll definitely make it easier to identify things you come across online.

It also features Chat Assist and Transcript Assist. Transcript Assist in particular could be extremely useful for students recording a lecture, as the feature will transcribe that recording and turn it into notes for you. The laptop also features Live Translate for voice calls and video calls.
