Withings has introduced its latest smartwatch called the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant at the ongoing IFA trade show in Berlin. It is essentially a more premium and compact variant of the Withings ScanWatch Nova that was launched in December last year. The new watch is designed for those with smaller wrists and looking for a comfortable fitting option.
The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant flaunts a premium titanium design
This new Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant incorporates the health features of its predecessors in a more premium package. The wearable has all the technology seen in the existing ScanWatch 2 and ScanWatch Nova. But, the new model has a striking look and finish. The wearable comes with a smaller 39mm dial, slightly smaller than the previous 42mm option.
Notably, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant timepiece mixes analog features with modern digital ones. It has a fluted titanium bezel surrounding the dial, which is protected by sapphire crystal. The new model removes the rotating bezel of its predecessor and features a digital crown instead.
It incorporates the health features of its predecessors
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant comes with a small 0.63-inch OLED display on the top half of the dial. It shows your health metrics, notifications, battery status, and more. A traditional minute/second dial is also placed on the lower half. Like its predecessor, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is water-resistant and features a linked bracelet.
Notably, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is fitted with several health-tracking features. It flaunts a medical-grade electrocardiogram that checks your heartbeat for irregularities. The device can also track temperature fluctuations and blood oxygen levels.
Notably, the device is touted to last for up to 30 days on a single charge. You can also monitor your steps, calories burned, elevation, and workout routes on the app on your paired smartphone. The Withings app is available for both Android and iOS devices.
The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant will be available to buy in November for $600. The wearable will be offered in two finishes – Silver and a dual-tone Silver/Gold.
