Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra is easily one of the best smartwatches available right now (it’s one of our personal favorites too), and Amazon currently has it on sale for $419.99 which is a pretty screaming deal. Samsung used to directly offer this same discount but it seems the price on it has gone back up to $649.99, making Amazon the place to go if you want to save some money on it.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a powerful smartwatch that runs on Wear OS 5, and it’s loaded with features for tracking exercises, plotting routes for your outdoor excursions, and just keeping in touch with friends or family through notifications. What makes the Galaxy Watch Ultra unique is its intended design. This is Samsung’s second smartwatch meant for outdoor enthusiasts, and it’s a definite improvement over the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
It’s water and dust-resistant like other Galaxy Watches, but it’s also made of titanium so it’s even more durable. Plus it has several features that cater to outdoor use. Such as the night vision watch faces that are easier to see in the dark. It also has the Quick Button for immediately launching into a function with a single button press. Now the types of functions you can use with this button are limited, but it’s still a useful feature.
The watch also has pretty decent battery life, and it comes with GPS for tracking your location if and when it’s ever needed. Of course, it has 24/7 heart rate tracking as well as tracking of several different types of exercises. Additionally, it can track sleep and monitor stress. It is a big smartwatch at 47mm, so that’s something to keep in mind. But if a big smartwatch doesn’t bother you, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is an excellent option.
