Say what you want about the Apple Vision Pro, but it was an impressive bit of technology. It’s a useful device for both work and…. well just work. As smart as this device is, Apple knows how to make it smarter. According to a new report, the Vision Pro will soon get Apple Intelligence.
This should come as no surprise, as AI can pretty much be plugged into anything. Google is not shy about smushing Gemini into all of its devices and services. Apple’s Vision OS is intuitive and useful as what you can expect from the company. However, it and the company’s other operating systems like iOS, MacOS, and iPadOS are open for some powerful AI to improve their experience. Well, Apple Intelligence will be the thing to do that.
The Vision Pro will get Apple Intelligence
Apple cooked up an entire operating system for its first XR headset. The modular operating system with its floating windows is set to get some of the same AI features that we’ve seen on the iPhone. This includes the ChatGPT integration. Users will be able to have text generated for whatever they need. This is pretty standard AI fare. Along with that, the Vision Pro will gain the Smart Replies feature. This will allow Apple Intelligence to respond to your messages.
These, along with Genmoji, Image Playground, Image Wand, Priority Notifications, and others will also land on the headset. If you have a Vision Pro, then you should enjoy these features.
Memory Movie
While the Vision Pro will get these shared features, it will also receive an exclusive function. This one is called Memory Movie. It will be similar to something that Google announced for Google Photos previously. Using this feature, you’ll open the Photos app and type a description. It can be more general in nature, but it will help if it has something to do with some of the content you have in your library.
When you do that, the app will look through your photos and videos and create a “movie” out of the ones it selected. What’s neat is that you’ll be able to blow up that content and watch it in a VR space
Apple will release Apple Intelligence as a part of Vision OS 2.4. It’s available for developers at the moment, and it will hit users’ headsets in April.
