OPPO has published official camera samples from the upcoming OPPO Find N5. The device itself will become official tomorrow, February 20, as the company is hosting a press event in Singapore.
The official OPPO Find N5 camera samples are here
If you check out the gallery below, you’ll see three camera samples. Do note that they’ve been compressed a bit, but you can access them in their full resolution by clicking here. OPPO shared them via X.
The first image shows a woman holding a flower. You’ll notice a very nice separation between the subject and the background here and well-balanced colors. The second image shows a dog mid-jump, catching a frisbee. This indicates a quick shutter on the phone. We’re hoping OPPO will bring over the zero shutter lag feature from the OPPO Find X8 Pro.
The third image is a closeup of a flower, with plenty of red color in the frame. The OPPO Find N5 did a great job balancing out this photo, in all honesty. Many phones have problems with so much red in the frame.
OPPO did not share any additional details other than sharing the pictures themselves
We’re not sure what cameras OPPO used to shoot these images, though. The last one is almost certainly taken with a periscope telephoto unit, as that is rumored to be a telemacro camera. The one with the dog is likely captured with the main one, while we’re not sure about the first one, but OPPO likely used a periscope telephoto camera.
The phone is tipped to include three cameras on the back. A main 50-megapixel unit is rumored, along with a periscope telephoto camera, which will also be used to capture macro photos. The third camera on the back will be an ultrawide unit. Hasselblad will be a part of the picture too.
The OPPO Find N5 will become the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone. OPPO’s CEO confirmed as much. The device will measure only 8.93mm when folded, and 4.2mm when unfolded. It will also be lighter than its predecessor.
