Xiaomi has confirmed the global launch date for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The phone will become official on March 2, which means it won’t launch in China and globally at the same time.
Xiaomi announce the global launch date of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra & its sibling
The device has been confirmed to launch in China at the end of February. It has been reported that the launch date will be February 26, but it hasn’t been confirmed just yet. So, the global model will be a couple of days late.
The Xiaomi 15 will also arrive alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, that’s for sure. Just to be clear, Xiaomi did not mention either phone by name as part of this announcement. The company is teasing both, though.
Xiaomi went ahead to mention that we’ll “witness #TheNextPinnacle” on said date, while it also mentioned the Xiaomi 15 series. This pretty much confirms that we’ll get both phones, but neither is mentioned by name.

This event will take place as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. It’s technically taking place a day before MWC, but… that’s how things usually go.
We exclusively shared Xiaomi 15 Ultra design & specifications recently
We’ve exclusively shared the Xiaomi 15 Ultra renders yesterday. The phone’s design is not exactly a secret at this point. Xiaomi will utilize a huge camera oreo on the back, with four cameras on the inside.
At least one variant of the phone will feature a dual-tone design on the back, inspired by Leica’s cameras. A flat display and a quad micro-curved design will be in use too.
On top of the renders, we’ve also exclusively revealed the phone’s global spec sheet. The Snapdragon 8 Elite will fuel the device, while 16GB of RAM will be a part of the package too.
A 5,410mAh battery will be included in the package, along with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also include three 50-megapixel cameras and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on the back.
