Summary: Users in the US will have to wait a couple of days to get their hands on Samsung’s One UI 7 update. The rollout will start on April 10, a couple of days after the global rollout started. It’s a huge update, as it weighs over 5GB, so get ready!

Samsung has started rolling out One UI 7 yesterday, for a handful of devices. The rollout started hitting the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

With that being said, it seemed like the rollout started in all regions, but that is not the case. Based on a new report, users in the US did not get a taste of One UI 7 just yet, but it’s only days away.

Based on a report from SamMobile, users in the US will get the update later this week. To be more accurate, it will start rolling out on April 10, as Samsung said back when it announced stable One UI 7 launch date.

Needless to say, One UI 7 is based on Android 15, and it finally started rolling out to devices. Users were getting quite anxious, as Android 15 has been around for a long time at this point. In fact, Android 16 is right around the corner.

One UI 7 brings a redesigned UI, smoother performance, Galaxy AI improvements & more

This update brings a redesigned UI, smoother performance, and it also improves Galaxy AI, along with all the underlying improvements that Android 15 brings. Samsung has also added a Now Bar widget and some other smart features to the table.

Do note that the update is actually quite massive. You’ll need to grab over 5GB of content if you’re running stable One UI 6 update, at least based on the update files we’ve seen thus far.

Aside from the devices we’ve mentioned that have already started getting the update, a handful more will get it in April. It’s also coming to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10+/S10 Ultra, S23/S23+/S23 Ultra, and S24 FE.

A bunch of additional devices will follow in May and June. You can find more information about that here.
