Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Information:
Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) was unveiled by Google on October 19, 2011. This is Google's 6th big iteration of Android operating system and it brought significant changes to the Android OS itself. ICS brings not only a ton of under the hood changes but also a re-design of the OS itself as far as design goes. ICS brings what Google calls "Holo UI" to the tablet and it looks rather minimalistic. ICS brings NFC (Near-Field Communication) support, an updated web browser experience, new contacts manager, better overall integration, Face Unlock feature, monitor for your mobile data usage, Roboto font, new gallery layout and tons of other improvements. This is a really big overhaul of the Android OS by Google, probably the biggest one yet. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich represents a whole new direction in which Google wants to take this platform.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Editor Rating:
Android ICS really is a huge update for Android OS, I really want to emphasize that. Google revamped a lot of here, the Holo UI which comes along with the update is modern and really appropriate in my opinion. Android is seriously maturing with every new iteration and I'm really exicted to see what will Google bring to the tablet next year. Until then we can enjoy Android Ice Cream Sandwich and everything this version of Android has to offer and believe me when I tell you, it offers a lot.
