Best Amazon October Prime Day 2024 Smartphone Deals

Amazon has once again decided to host a Fall Prime Day in October. It’s called ‘Prime Big Deal Days’, and it’s technically taking place on October 8 and October 9. Needless to say, the company will offer plenty of discounts on those two days. We have an article for Amazon October Prime Day deals in general, and in this one, we’ll focus on smartphones.

As is the case with various other product categories, you can expect to see quite a few smartphone sales today and tomorrow. Black Friday 2024 is not that far away, but Amazon is trying to steal its thunder by offering various deals for you to check out. Chances are that many of them will be replicated for Black Friday.

Regardless of whether you’re interested in the latest and greatest Google has to offer, or some offerings from Samsung, you can already save quite a bit of cash. So, read on if you’d like to see what smartphones are currently on sale. We cannot list all of them, of course, but we did cherry-pick some of the nicest deals we’ve spotted thus far. Check out the list below.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra - $1,101

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra usually does not need any special introduction. This is one of the most popular smartphones on the planet, and the best one Samsung has to offer at the moment. It comes with a flat display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, and even the S Pen stylus. It has four powerful cameras on the back, plenty of storage with 512GB, and much more. Samsung is currently offering a 22% discount on the device, and there are plenty of colors you can choose from.

Google Pixel 9 - $849.99

If you really want to use one of Google’s best smartphones, and you don’t like big phones, the Pixel 9 could be the ideal device for you. The 256GB storage option of the phone is now discounted, and even though it’s not a big discount, you can still save up some cash. This handset is very manageable with one hand with its 6.3-inch display, while it comes with a bevy of AI features that you can use. It has thin bezels, a flat display, and two cameras on its back side. Android 14 is coming out of the box, but Android 15 is right around the corner.

OnePlus 12R - $429.99

When it launched, the OnePlus 12R was praised to be one of the best-value smartphones on the market. Not much has changed since then, and if you’re not looking to spend a lot, this handset is still a great option. It’s even discounted now on Amazon. For $429.99, you can grab a phone that comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,500mAh battery. It also offers 80W wired charging and a rather capable camera setup on the back. As cherry on top, you’re getting a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.

OnePlus 12 - $749.99

Much like its more affordable counterpart, the OnePlus 12 is also on sale now. This is still OnePlus’ flagship smartphone, as we’re waiting to see what will the OnePlus 13 bring to the table. The OnePlus 12 is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the most powerful SoC Qualcomm has to offer. The phone includes a larger 5,400mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display, not to mention 100W wired (80W in the US) and 50W wireless charging. OnePlus Nord N30 5G - $249.99

For those of you are looking something that costs less than $300, well, we got you covered. The OnePlus Nord N30 5G is now discounted to only $249.99, and it’s a solid device, especially for that price tag. This smartphone has a nice-looking 6.72-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and supports 50W fast charging. 8GB of RAM is included in the package, as is a 5,000mAh battery. The phone also looks rather nice, and there’s even a 108-megapixel main camera included here. The other two back cameras are not all that interesting, but that 108MP can take some nice shots.

Google Pixel 8 - $549.29

If you’d like to get one of Google’s more powerful smartphones, which is also compact, but you don’t want to splash out for the latest-gen model. Well, the Pixel 8 is still a great choice. This smartphone is now discounted as part of the October Prime Day deal too. This handset is also quite compact, and it has a flat display, plus plenty of curves, unlike its younger sibling. It also comes with a ton of AI features, a 6.2-inch 120Hz display, and 8GB of RAM. Needless to say, its cameras are also quite capable.

Google Pixel 7a - $329

For those of you who don’t want to spend more than $350, and still want a Google phone, there’s a solution for that too. The older Pixel 7a is now available for $329 for October Prime Day. This phone was announced last year, so it’s not exactly old, and it’s great value at this price tag. It has a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and it’s fueled by the Google Tensor G2 chip. 8GB of RAM is included in the package, while the phone has 64-megapixel and 13-megapixel cameras on its back.

OnePlus Open - $1,299

Are you looking for a book-style foldable? Well, many would say that the OnePlus Open still holds the crown in that department. That is, of course, debatable. What is not debatable is whether this phone is on discount at the moment, because it is. It’s discounted by $400 as we speak, and it has plenty to offer. Its industrial build sure is unique, and the phone itself has barely visible crease and a great folding mechanism. It has very capable cameras backed by Hasselblad, while it comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Two 120Hz displays are also included, along with 67W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - $1,399

Speaking of book-style foldable phones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has also been discounted. One of the most popular foldable smartphones in the world is now 26% off on Amazon. This is Samsung’s newest book-style foldable, and it comes with two 120Hz displays. It also includes 256GB of storage, and plenty of AI features as part of Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 - $849

Motorola Razr+ (2023) - $549

The Motorola Razr+ (2023), the company’s flagship foldable for last year, is now offered at a considerable discount on Amazon. It is now cheaper by a whopping $450, or in other words, it’s 45% cheaper. The phone can be yours for $549.99. This is a very compelling flip phone with a spacious cover display. It comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and two AMOLED displays. The main one has a 165Hz refresh rate, while the cover display offers a 144Hz refresh rate.

Motorola Razr+ (2024) - $899

In case you’d like to get the latest and greatest Motorola has to offer in terms of foldables, the Razr+ (2024) is also on offer. This handset is discounted by 20% on Amazon, as it now costs $899. This phone has two 165Hz displays, as both its foldable and cover displays offer such high refresh rate.
