All Saints have admitted that they decided to split up because they all âkind of hated each otherâ.
The 1990s girl band, who have now reunited to make brand new album Red Flag, didnât feel the need to stay together for âthe moneyâ when they went their separate ways in 2001.
Speaking to Alan Carr on Chatty Man, the singers opened up about how fighting drove the band apart.
âWe just werenât really getting on any more and we kind of hated each other so we just thought âf**k it, letâs stop,ââ said Mel Blatt.
âWhich was the right thing to do, I think,â said Shaznay Lewis.
âWe didnât do it for the money. We didnât carry on for the money like some bands even though they hated each other,â Blatt added.

Despite their earlier conflict, it seems that the band have put their differences aside this time around.
âItâs amazing. Itâs just heart-eyes everywhere. Love. We just have the best time,â said Blatt.
Nicole Appleton added: âI think we just avoid it, purely just because we put everything on the table and say how we are feeling, but itâs not even got to that yet.â
Alan Carr is also joined by Steve Coogan, Rob Delaney, Michael Socha and Michaela Coel.
Alan Carr: Chatty Man is on Channel 4 at 10pm.
