Good Morning Britain host Eamonn Holmes was left red-face after admitting to attending a swingersâ party with his wife Ruth Langsford..
They are one of ITVâs most popular presenting partners but it seems the husband and wife duo have a saucy secret private life.
When questioned by his co-host Charlotte Hawkins about a story in The Sun newspaper which showed pictures of Holmes and his wife at a âsex partyâ, the presenter explained that he and Langsfordâs attendance at the event was simply âinvestigative journalismâ.
Hawkins grilled him on the article, saying: ââEamonn and Ruth at Saucy Sex Partyâ and apparently this is what youâve been getting up to during the weekend.â

Holmes was quick to hit back and despite confirming the story, he insisted that he was only there for the facts, saying: âNot apparently Charlotte, not apparently. Itâs fact. Itâs called investigative reporting â deep undercover.â
But Hawkins wasnât prepared to let him off the hook that easily, asking: âIs it really investigative reporting? Because weâve got some quotes here⦠âGuests said Eamonn and Ruth were fascinated by the explicit antics.â Didnât join in â they do say that.â
She added: âLooks like you quite enjoyed it though.â
Their fellow anchor Sean Fletcher joined in the teasing too, joking: âIâm with Charlotte on this - you look a bit red there.â
Holmes and Hawkins are currently standing in for regular hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, while they are on holiday.
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays at 6am on ITV.
