Daybreak viewers to judge hosts

ITV bosses have asked viewers to give Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley marks out of 10 after their Daybreak show suffered a ratings slump.

In a move which could signal a radical overhaul of the breakfast programme, selected viewers have been asked to score "presenter chat and banter" among other criteria.

Chiles, 43, and Bleakley, 31, have failed to replicate the chemistry from when they co-hosted The One Show on the BBC.
