LG G Vista

LG G Vista Information:

LG G Vista is LG's device which is made for US carriers Verizon Wireless and AT&T. You can consider this device to be a cheaper version of LG G3, it's "little" brother of sorts, even though this device is larger and heavier than the original G3. LG G Vista is a mid-range offering by LG and the device itself looks rather nice and resembles its "big" brother. Power / lock button and volume rockers are located at the back of the device, like they are on the LG G3. This device also comes with LG's very own UI on top of Android 4.4.2 KitKat which comes out of the box and thus carries a ton of LG features along with it. As far as specifications go, however, this device is nowhere near the G3.

The G Vista features a 5.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display along with 1.5GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). This handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz which comes with an Adreno 305 GPU for graphics processing. On the back of the device, you can find a 8-megapixel camera with laser autofocus while there's a 1.3-megapixel shooter located up front. Android 4.4.2 KitKat comes pre-installed here with LG's very own OS on top of it while the device ships with a 3200mAh battery. This handset sports 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n as well as the usual array of sensors. 152.1 x 79.2 x 9.1mm are the device's measurements and it weighs 167 grams.

LG G Vista Editor Rating:

This handset is a mid-range offering and I'm sure it's a perfect fit for some people, though I believe it's too expensive considering what it offers. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid device, but I believe there are better offerings out there for that amount of money. If you're in a market for a mid-range handset and you just want to get an LG device or are tied down to AT&T or Verizon and you're looking for a device in this price range, it's a solid offering I guess. The device is well built and it offers tons of LG features for you to enjoy, though some of you might find some of them annoying and bloaty, that depends from person to person of course. 8-megapixel shooter on the back is alright and the laser autofocus gives you great speeds when it comes to focusing and taking a picture.
