The Xbox Series X is still in its fledgling state with a fairly small library of new games for the console, but there are many on the horizon to look out for. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just trying to survive as you beat back the undead horde, the Xbox Series X has some great new games on the way that should fit the bill.
And the only thing standing in your way of enjoying these upcoming games is time. The time it’ll take to wait for the release dates. Now, keeping release dates in mind, it’s not unlikely that games on this list will have their launches delayed. This year has already seen a couple of game delays. And it isn’t unlikely that 2021 could end up a lot like 2020 in regards to games being pushed back.
This post will be updated from time to time to reflect any changes we notice on dates for these upcoming releases. As well as new announcements that may be made for games which aren’t already on the list. The list also won’t be exhaustive and will mostly include the biggest new games coming to the platform. As opposed to every single game. Game titles will be categorized by month and in order of their release within that month. If you’re looking for the best games to play on Xbox Series X, you can check out our list for that here.
