Police and ambulance crews descended on a Tube station in south London after reports of a person stabbed in a mass street brawl.

Met police officers, British Transport Police and London Ambulance Services rushed to Kennington station just after 7pm to attend a “large fight”.

Pictures of the scene show traffic at a standstill as police officers patrolled the area.

A Met spokesman said officers were “called to reports of a group fighting there” and were informed that someone had been stabbed.
