Man in his 20s recovering in hospital following stabbing in south London

A man believed to be in his 20s is in hospital after he was stabbed during a fight by a common.

Police on patrol were alerted to the clash between a group of men in Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, at 8pm last night.

They discovered the man suffering from stab wounds close to Trumble Gardens.

He was taken to a south London hospital and is in a stable condition.

Police are investigating, no arrests have been made.
