

A teenage moped rider died after being struck by a motorist following a row over a woman in north London, witnesses said today.
Soban Khan, 18, was thrown from his scooter and cracked his head on a kerb. A 19-year-old pillion passenger was injured and taken to hospital.
Neighbours said a woman woke up âthe entire streetâ with screams after the crash at 3.10am on Saturday.
Paramedics cut through Mr Khanâs clothes to use a defibrillator as they battled for 90 minutes to save him before he was pronounced dead at the scene in London Road, Enfield. The black moped was left wedged under the bonnet of a red sports car in a bus lane on the wrong side of the road.

The male driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was in custody.
A witness, who was a friend of the victim, said an argument erupted over a girl outside the nearby Bar Form nightclub. He said: âThere was an altercation outside the club over a girl. [The driver] got in his car and two guys got on a moped. The bike was completely destroyed.â
The witness, who asked to remain anonymous, continued: âSoban was the most lovely person I know. He always had something funny to say and was a good, hard-working person.â
Neighbour Fatos Uzun said: âIt was so early and a lady was screaming, âHeâs not movingâ, everybody was waking up. He was lying down on the floor. He had hit his head on the kerb and I couldnât see a helmet. His friends wanted to help him but were too scared to move him. There was so much blood. They all looked very young and just kept pacing around helpless.â
School friend Finlay Hassan said Mr Khan was a âfamily manâ who lived at home with his parents and older sister.
He said: âSoban was a very loyal friend.He was a big softie, very easy going.â Anyone with information should call police on 101.
