Morden stabbing: Murder probe after man, 25, knifed to death in south London

A murder probe has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in south London.

Police were called just before 11pm on Thursday to reports of a stabbing in the communal area of flats on London Road, Morden.

A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second man, 33, was also found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Scotland Yard said offiers are informing the man's next of kin. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

A crime scene remains in place.

No arrests have been made.
