

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in the centre of London.
Police taped off a large swathe of road in Pimlico on Friday afternoon after the victim, 20, was injured in the knife attack.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at around 4.30pm on Friday.

He was found with a stab wound and has been taken to a hospital in south London where he is now recovering.

According to a Met Police spokesman, it is thought the victim will survive.
Officers from Westminster are now investigating the stabbing. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
It comes as the Standard launched a special investigation into knife crime after 11 people were stabbed to death on London’s streets in the space of 16 days.
The Met have set up a dedicated anti-knife crime taskforce, made up of 100 officers and detectives, to combat knives on the capital’s streets.
