This is the horrific moment a woman was racially abused after she tried to stop a man smoking on a London bus.
The shocking incident, filmed on a camera phone, took place at around 9.20pm on Tuesday on the number 36 bus.
Footage shows a wheelchair-bound man lighting up a cigarette in the disabled section of the bus as it passed through Bishopâs Bridge Road, Westminster.
After the woman complains, he shouts: âStop going on woman. If you donât like it go back to your own country. I will say it.
âYouâve f***ing taken over England now f*** off. Stop sponging off the state.
âI live in Belgravia Iâm a f***ing billionaire, now f*** off. I can do what I want shut your mouth.â
Paul Brown, who filmed the confrontation, said he went to comfort the victim after the verbal assault.
He told the Standard: âIt was a really hostile journey.
âThe bus driver stopped and asked her if she wanted him to call the police but she just wanted to get going. No-one wants to hear that in 2021.
âI gave him an earful saying you canât speak to people like that.
âI asked the poor woman if she wanted to sit next to me but she declined. The whole of the bus was against him and let him know.â
