A fortnight ago the Londoner reported how Trinny Woodall and Slash from Guns ’n’ Roses made odd dining companions at C restaurant. There was a more conventional couple this weekend at the Mayfair joint in the shape of David Walliams and his wife Lara Stone. Walliams, who swam the Thames last autumn, has his trunks for sale on eBay, with proceeds going to Friday’s Sport Relief. Stone is probably relieved to see the back of them.
