
Donald Trump labelled Twitterâs executives as âmentally illâ during his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
In the second segment of his interview with the Talk TV host, the former US President attacked Twitter executives for permanently removing his account last year following the Capitol Hill riot.
âTheyâre sick, theyâre mentally ill, I really believe that,â he said when asked why his account had been removed while others have not. In further criticism from of the platform, he then said Twitter had âbecome boringâ.
The former President also said the social media platform he launched, Truth Social, will become one of the best in the world.
Although tech mogul, Elon Musk, has now purchased Twitter, Mr Trump said he will not rejoin the social media platform, and will remain on Truth Social, which was launched by the Trump Media & Technology Group.
Despite trailing footage showing the former President appearing to storm off ahead of the interview, Piers revealed the end of their conversation where he asked Mr Trump about his recent hole in one.
After discussing Mr Trumpâs golf prowess, the interview finished with the former President eventually walking away, and is heard saying Piers had been âvery dishonestâ.
Spieaking to Piers, he added: âI think a lot of people are going to be very happy.â
He said âfor reasons of campaign financeâ he is ânot allowedâ to state definitively whether he will stand to lead the US.
As Russiaâs brutal invasion of Ukraine continues, Mr Trump said the conflict wouldâve been avoided had he been in office.

Mr Trump said he thought the war was âterribleâ, adding: âWeâre going to be ashamed at what weâve done, or what we havenât done to stop this catastrophe. This is a catastrophe. This is in a way already a world war.â
Asked to elaborate on how he wouldâve dealt with Mr Putin, he added: âI would say we have far more nuclear weapons than you do, far more powerful than you and you can't use that word ever again.
âYou cannot use the nuclear word ever again. And if you do, we're going to have problems.â
