Gabby Petitoâs father has said he isnât interested in what is inside her dead fiance Brian Laundrieâs notebook despite it possibly containing a motive her murder.
Brianâs notebook, backpack and dry bag, were found close to the 23-year-oldâs skeletal remainsin an area of Floridaâs Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.
The belongings were found by Laundrieâs parents helping the FBI with the items having been underwater during earlier searches.
Laundrie had been missing for over a month after returning to Florida from a joint road trip without his travel blogging partner.
Bits of his notebook were salvageable with FBI officials saying the contents of the book could reveal further insight into Laundrieâs state of mind.
But Gabbyâs father Joe Petito told TMZ that nothing in Brianâs notebook was going to bring his daughter back, and its contents couldnât explain how her death could have been prevented.

Joe added he was never going to get closure from the notebook and would not give to help him get over losing a child. He says the only reason he would want to know what Brian wrote would be for his own selfish gratification.
Gabbyâs father also says the notebook wonât do much for Brianâs parents either and his notebook wonât bring their son back either.
He chose to instead focus on domestic violence which affects as many as 1 in 3 American women.
It came as the initial autopsy on the remains of Brian Laundrie did not uncover a cause of his death and a more intensive examination will be done, a Laundrie family lawyer said on Monday.
Steve Bertolino, the Laundriesâ attorney, said in text messages Monday that he was told by police the autopsy by the Sarasota County medical examiner did not produce concrete results on Brian Laundrieâs death.
âI was told the manner and cause of death were not determined and the remains were sent to an anthropologist (for) further evaluation,â Bertolino said.

Eventually, Laundrieâs remains will be cremated and no funeral is planned by his family, Bertolino said.
Ms Petito, 22, was discovered dead last month on the edge of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, one of the places the young couple had visited on the trip they documented through social media videos.
An autopsy in Wyoming concluded Petito died by strangulation and that it was a homicide. Laundrie was listed as a âperson of interestâ in her killing but he was charged only with fraudulent use of a debit card that was not his.
His remains were found in a nature preserve not far from his familyâs home in North Port, Florida, where both he and Ms Petito had been living.
