Holly Willoughby loses it over Dec’s cheeky Anne Hegerty joke on I’m A Celeb

Holly Willoughby struggled to compose herself after Declan Donnelly cracked a naughty joke at Anne Hegerty’s expense.

The presenters were on their way into the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp when Donnelly set Willoughby off by bringing up Hegerty’s farting.

The Governess, famed for quizzing the public on The Chase, “farted in Nick [Knowles’] face” minutes after they woke up.

Donnelly couldn’t resist poking fun at the unfortunate mishap as they headed into camp on Monday night’s episode.

Willoughby said: “Poor Nick missing out on a dinner. He’ll never get to taste that feast.”

Donnelly quipped: “Oh he will. About six tomorrow morning when Anne wakes up and rolls over.”

Willoughby was in fits of laughter as she attempted to hold it together for her cue.

“Let’s get back to the feast itself,” she said as she fought off the giggles. “And this was an experience that would never be repeated.”

Seeing another opportunity, Donnelly joked: “Oh it will, about half six tomorrow morning when Anne wakes up and rolls over.”

Hegerty left viewers in hysterics after she accidentally passed wind on waking up in the emperor’s hut alongside Knowles.

“Oh, excuse me sorry,” she said quickly on realising what had happened.

She later explained herself in the Bush Telegraph, telling viewers: “I farted in Nick’s face this morning and he didn’t seem to mind so obviously we’re good mates. It was a tiny, tiny little fart.”

Hegerty has won over a legion of fans on the show after opening up about her struggle with autism and for downing a pint of blended fish eyes in a record 12 seconds.
