Pete Davidson fans set up GoFundMe page after Ariana Grande âsplitâ: âHe will need somewhere to sleep tonightâ

Pete Davidsonâs fans set up a GoFundMe page for the comedian after it was reported he has split from fiancé Ariana Grande.
The US couple are said to have called time on their whirlwind romance last week because it âsimply was not the right time for their relationship to take off,â according to TMZ.
Fans of the Saturday Night Live star set up a fundraising page to help find the comedian âsomewhere to sleepâ after assuming Grande has kicked him out and heâll have nowhere to live.
The description read: âAs you may all know, Pete Davidson and his fiancé have recently broken up. He will need somewhere to sleep tonight.â
The page has since been deleted.
Fans were in hysterics over the spoof, which sparked a flurry of copycat pages. One has a target of $2,000 (£1,523) while another is aiming to raise a whopping £7 million.
One tweeted: âDid I seriously just read that ppl created a GoFundMe for #petedavidson? Omg.â

Another wrote: âIs it true someone started a GoFundMe for Pete Davidson so that he wonât go homeless after Ariana kicks him out lmao people of the internet are so f****** cruel lmaoooo.â
A third joked that someone should fundraise for money to help remove the matching tattoos he got with Grande, tweeting: âSomeone please go create a GoFundMe for getting Pete Davidsonâs tattoos about Ariana removes.â
Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged in June after weeks of dating. The Saturday Night Live star said he knew he wanted to marry the God is a Woman singer the first time they met.
Speaking to GQ he said: âThe day I met her, I was like, âHey, Iâll marry you tomorrow.â
âShe was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture (of engagement rings).
âI was like, âDo you like any of these?â She was like, âThose are my favourite ones,â and I was like, âSickâ.â
Grande recently revealed that she is taking time off to âheal and mendâ in the wake of ex-boyfriend Mac Millerâs death last month and the Manchester Arena attack which saw a suicide bomber murder 22 people at her concert in May 2017.
