Who is Tess Ward? Everything you need to know about Harry Styles’ ‘new girlfriend’

Tess Ward is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, author, food consultant – and Harry Styles’ rumoured girlfriend.

Here’s everything you need to know about the girl who may have stolen Harry’s heart:

Who is she?

Ward, 27, grew up near Oxford with her parents and younger brother. She studied History of Art at the University of Leeds. She was diagnosed with a parasite aged 18 after a trip to India which made her rethink the way she eats and she started to cook and discover food that could aid her recovery.

After completing her degree she enrolled to train as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu and has since spent time in professional kitchens, including River Cottage, The Ritz and the Michelin-starred Harwood Arms.

What does she do?

Despite being a “late bloomer in the kitchen”, Ward went on to become a successful chef, food blogger, food writer, and is also a certified health coach with a 114,000 strong following on Instagram and Twitter combined.

She runs her website, The Yes Chef, and released her first cookbook, The Naked Diet, in June 2015, which “celebrates unprocessed ‘naked’ ingredients and this method of stripped back cooking”. She published The Naked Cookbook the following year.

Ward also hosts VIP dinners for clients such as Alice Temperley and Mulberry and has a host of famous friends including former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh.

How did she meet Harry Styles?

The celebrity pair are said to have been introduced by mutual friends. There was an “instant spark between them” and they bonded over their love of “quirky fashion and food”.

A source told The Sun: “As soon as Harry met Tess there was an instant spark between them.

“They really bonded over their mutual love of quirky fashion and food – and things turned romantic quickly.

“They’ve been on a number of dates while Harry has been in London and he’s already introduced Tess to some of his close friends including his personal stylist Lou Teasdale.”

They were first pictured together in Styles’ Audi during a drive around north London last weekend. Eagle-eyed fans also spotted that Ward was wearing what appears to be Styles’ Gucci shirt at an event a few days after he wore it.
