Jamie Borthwick's ex-girlfriend claims Strictly star cheated on her during his time on the show

Jamie Borthwick’s ex-girlfriend has accused the EastEnders star of cheating on her during his time on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Chloe Strand claims the actor, 30, was in a relationship with her from March last year, but she has since reportedly learned he was seeing another woman from around August.

She went on to claim that she uncovered his alleged infidelity after a friend had dinner with the other woman Jamie was seeing earlier this month, who revealed she had been back with the star “exclusively” since last August, The Sun reported.

It comes after Strictly stars Jamie Borthwick and Wynne Evans were reprimanded by the BBC over a backstage prank involving a sex toy during the show’s live tour.

A video, reportedly shared in the Strictly performers’ WhatsApp group, shows Borthwick waving the toy backstage at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.

Ms Strand allegedly told a friend: “Jamie is devious and deceptive. He told me he loved me and he was planning our future,” The Sun reported.

“I was seeing him between March last year and earlier this month — but I’ve learnt he was also with another woman from around August.”

Ms Strand revealed that Jamie had promised to take her on a holiday abroad at the end of the tour in March, but later cancelled—opting for a holiday with friends instead.

She has since found out that he went to Amsterdam on a romantic break with another woman, according to The Sun.

“I don’t know how he could be so cruel. It’s pure gaslighting. I’d been with Jamie the two weekends before he went away with someone else,” she told the newspaper.

“Jamie doesn’t know where the plotlines on EastEnders finish and real life starts. I’m disgusted with him and I hope no other woman falls for his charms.”

Ms Strand met Jamie at a bar at 100 Waldour Street in March last year. He was out with EastEnders co-star Dean Gaffney, who plays Robbie Jackson, at the time.

When Dean approached Ms Strand, offered to buy her drinks and asked for her Instagram, she reportedly told him “I prefer your mate.” Jamie then allegedly found her on social media and they started dating within weeks.
