The award for the most publicity hungry celebrity goes to Lily Allen. After denying reports of an engagement to millionaire art dealer Jay Jopling, you'd assume the Smile singer, 23, would prefer to wear her sparkler on any other finger in a bid to quash further speculation.

But no. Hitting paparazzi besieged venues the Ivy Club and then the Groucho Club, Lily made no attempt at hiding the ring on her engagement finger.
