Love Island 2022: Jay Younger slammed by exes as family hit back at âhurtfulâ claims

Love Islandâs Jay Younger has been branded âselfishâ and âcutthroatâ as two of his exes spoke out following his arrival in the villa.
His family have fired back at the claims saying they are âhurtfulâ and they said they are looking forward to seeing him show his âkindâ personality on the show.
The investment analyst, 28, has already caused a stir on Love Island by eyeing up Amber Beckford and enjoying a cheeky lunch date with Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.
Off-screen, one former flame known only as Ems, a model from London, claimed the reality star promised her a future before dumping her to go on the ITV2 dating show.
Swept up in a whirlwind romance, she claimed she met his family just two weeks after meeting on Hinge.

But the model admitted she was âdevastatedâ when she found out he was going on Love Island after noticing marks on his arms from compulsory blood tests he had to have in order to go on the show.
She told The Sun: âHe said to me, âThis is for the opportunity only, Iâm not going in to find love â Iâve found love with youâ. But I just picked up all my stuff and left. He sold me a dream and I was left devastated.
âThen a few days later on the phone he told me, âWhen Iâm on Love Island, Iâll rub my ear when Iâm thinking of you, like a secret symbolâ.â

The model made further claims he promised her a future together, with marriage and children, and even he told her he would buy a house for them with his prize money.
Meanwhile, a second woman calling herself Mal has claimed she dated Younger for six months and shared a flat in Edinburgh with him.
Their relationship came to an end when he allegedly dumped days before she was due to spend Christmas with his family.
