Mrs Hinch has revealed her baby son Vinnie was rushed to A&E earlier this week, where he was diagnosed with a congenital condition.

The cleaning influencer, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, had previously been told her two-month-old was suffering from colic and silent reflux.

However, the 35-year-old - who was in hospital herself for a blood clot last month - “trusted her gut” and decided to take the tot to A&E, where doctors revealed her child also has Laryngomalacia.

Laryngomalacia is a common condition in babies characterised by floppiness of the upper airway that can cause noisy breathing, according to the NHS.

Sharing photos of Vinnie in hospital and back at home on Instagram on Friday, Hinchliffe revealed her “nerves were broken” but she feels “relieved” to finally know the cause of the issue.

“Having stayed in hospital this last week with Vinnie I am SO grateful we are now back home,” the influencer wrote.

She went on: “Vinnies ‘reflux’ journey is something I’ve never experienced before and my gut couldn’t settle on ‘it’s just reflux this will pass’.

“I ended up taking Vinnie to A&E, and after further examinations yes Vinnie has reflux and CMPA but also Laryngomalacia.

“This is a common congenital condition, present at birth, where the soft tissues of the voice box collapse inward during feeding. To finally have answers and knowing as parents that we are not going crazy feels more settling yet nerve wracking.”

Hinchliffe - who welcomed Vinnie in February - added: “I feel relieved that we have been listened to and a care plan is in place for Vinnie, which avoids any potential surgery if all goes to plan. We just need to ensure Vinnie gains weight over the next month and go from there.

“One feed at a time (Don’t get me wrong… I know just how blessed we are as a family, but It really seems to be one thing after another knocking us down this last year, and my nerves feel broken to say the least) But we keep going, we all do, we have to, because things will surely start to look up again soon.

“So Just a gentle reminder today …. Never give up on your instinct. You’re not silly, your gut knows. Have a beautiful Easter weekend everyone.”

The cleaning expert concluded: “(P.s For those also facing any of these cases, Laryngomalacia especially, It would be so reassuring hearing your story, thank you) xx.”

Hinchliffe - who also shares sons Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three, with her husband Jamie - revealed last month that Vinnie had been diagnosed with colic and silent reflux.

Colic is when a baby cries a lot with no obvious cause and is a common issue that should clear up by the time the child is three or four months old, according to the NHS.

Reflux is when a baby brings up milk or is sick shortly after or during feeding and usually gets better on its own.

Hinchliffe was rushed to hospital herself last month to treat a blood clot in her leg. The vlogger revealed she underwent an operation in which doctors “hoovered” out the clot.
