Chelsea Women expecting a hostile reception as they aim to bring PSGâs Champions League run to an end

Chelsea Women are aiming to reach the last-four of the Champions League for the second consecutive season when they face Paris St- Germain in the second leg of their quarter-final tie in the French capital tonight.
Late goals from Hannah Blundell and Erin Cuthbert gave the Blues the upper hand at Kingsmeadow last Thursday and defeat tonight for PSG would be their first in four quarter-finals. Around 15,000 fans are expected in the Stade Jean-Bouin, adjacent to the Parc des Princes.
Scotland midfielder Cuthbert will miss the game through suspension, leaving an opening for Englandâs Fran Kirby, who set up both first-leg goals as a substitute.
âI wouldnât say weâre comfortable,â manager Emma Hayes said after her sideâs first-leg victory. â[The second leg] is going to be in front of a 10-15,000-strong, packed crowd. I expect it will be quite hostile and weâre going to go through difficult moments.â
Bundell added: âItâs going to be a completely different contest in Paris. We need to get an away goal. Weâre not a team to shut up shop, but Emma knows what weâre going to do. We know what to expect in Paris so weâre just going to focus on the game and make sure we get the win.â
Chelsea face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final next month, while they are currently third in the Womenâs Super League.

The winners of tonightâs tie will play either Wolfsburg or holders Lyon. Barcelona already have one foot in the last-four after a double from Englandâs Toni Duggan helped them to a 3-0 win over LSK Kvinner. The winner of that tie will take on Slavia Prague or Bayern Munich.
Chelsea have not issued any special travel advice to their supporters, despite a coachload of PSG fans being turned away from Kingsmeadow after a police search revealed weapons and Class A drugs on board.
