Double champ David Weir hungry for more glory

David Weir produced another flawless display to claim his second gold at the IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch.

The Briton edged out world record holder Marcel Hug to win the T54 1500metres in a time of 3min 10.93sec. Weir is also 800m champion and said: "For every gold I get, I want another."

There was a shock as Oscar Pistorius lost a 100m paralympic race for the first time in seven years. The South African was beaten in a photo finish by American Jerome Singleton.
