Patrice Evra popped up ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with his trademark âI love this game!â call-out.
The former Manchester United star echoed the thoughts of many fans who were tuning in for the fascinating title decider between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
Before the race, Sky F1 pundit Martin Brundle undertook his final grid walk of the season and spoke to the likes of Stormzy, Chris Gayle and Usain Bolt - all of whom were backing Hamilton.
While talking to rapper Stormzy, Evra jumped in to declare: âAnd he loves this game! I donât care!â
Stormzy joked that the Frenchman was a âlegendâ as he ran away, chuckling.
Verstappen started on pole for the race with Red Bull boss Christian Horner discussing his emotions with Brundle before lights out.
âWeâre pumped up for this race,â Horner said.
âThe team has done an outstanding job and Max has been mighty all year. Checo is going to go for it, he did a great job yesterday and all year, we are not giving up.â
