The Masters heads into the weekend with a stacked leaderboard set to battle it out over the next two days.

England’s Justin Rose led by three shots after the opening round but that advantage has been cut to one at the halfway stage, and there are a whole host of big names ready to strike behind him.

Bryson DeChambeau will join Rose in the final group on Saturday and is just a shot off the Englishman at seven-under, while Rory McIlroy has given himself as good a chance of Masters glory as he has had in many years.

The Northern Irishman shot a 66 on Friday to vault up the leaderboard and sit only two shots off the lead, alongside Corey Conners, with Scottie Scheffler and Tyrrell Hatton a shot further back.

Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland are among those also in the top ten, in what is shaping up to be a thrilling final 36 holes at Augusta.

Tiger Woods is not teeing it up this week, after he ruptured his Achilles while training at home and was forced to undergo surgery last month.
