How to watch London Marathon 2025: TV channel and live stream for the big day

We are just weeks away from one of the biggest races of the annual calendar around the world – the London Marathon.

More than 50,000 runners will pound the capital’s pavements in the name of good causes for the massive event which shuts down half the city.

More than £66m was raised for charity in 2024, with race organisers hoping that can be topped for 2025.

So far, the forecast is looking dry with intermittently sunny weather in London on race day, with only a slight chance of rain.

But if you are not running here is how you can get involved watching.

TV channel: As with every other year, the race is being shown live and free-to-air in the UK from 8.30am on race day – Sunday, April 27 – on BBC One, switching over to BBC Two for a final hour of coverage at 2pm.

Live stream: The London Marathon is also available to watch live online via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer.
