Anthony Joshua: You wonât find me exploding like Dereck Chisora â Iâll do my talking in the ring

Itâs press conference day for me and Eric Molina but I donât think itâs going to explode like Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte did yesterday.
We can all talk and rumble in press conferences but that doesnât achieve anything and itâs certainly not going to win me the fight. Instead, you have to keep your cool.
Iâve faced massive stumbling blocks in the past and, as a result, Iâve built up a resilience but you need good people around you to keep you grounded and to behave properly. My old amateur coach and mentor Robert McCracken is one of the most important people in my life and heâs in my corner for the first time in the professional ranks for this fight. Itâs great to have him on board. Tony Sims has done an amazing job for me and heâs still a huge part of the team, just like he was in the corner for Carl Froch when Rob trained him for his world title fights.
Rob was a fighter and he took himself to world level, he understands the sport and he has seen me come from a raw novice in 2010 through to the GB squad and the Olympics to where I am now, so he knows everything about me. You need people around you that donât get caught up in any of the pre-fight hype or act like âyesâ men.

Instead, they say âthat was rubbish, do it againâ and push you.
Thatâs why I donât go into press conferences running my mouth off, I try to conduct myself in the right way. Itâs because I have a good mentor alongside me, heâs a good asset. Iâve stayed close to the Team GB guys since turning pro as that was a huge part of my life and really set me up for the journey Iâm on now.
Katie Taylorâs pro journey began in London a few weeks ago and itâs brilliant having her on the bill here, itâs the stage she belongs on and Iâm honoured that sheâs part of the show. I wanted to go to the Wembley Arena and watch her but I was in camp so I couldnât. I watched it on TV though, she was immense and just showed what we all knew â she can really fight.
