Damien Duff helped steer Blackburn out of the bottom three with a stunning goal against Ipswich.
The 23-year-old collected the ball on the touchline skipped past three players before smashing an unstoppable shot into the corner.
Andy Cole scored the second in a 2-1 win at Ewood Park and Rovers manager Graeme Souness said: "It was a cracking goal from Damien.
"I've always been confident we could get out of trouble. We have nine games left and know what we have to do.
"The best thing is to be in charge of your own destiny."
