Spinners give England a shout

England require 285 runs to win the second 'Test' against Sri Lanka A after bowling them out for 296 in Colombo today.

But it looks a tough task, especially with the pitch offering help to the spin bowlers.

Sri Lanka began the third day on 211 for five but Malinga Bandara, who took eight wickets with his leg-breaks in England A's first innings, scored a rapid half-century.

Off-spinners Graeme Swann, of Northants, and Yorkshire's Richard Dawson claimed three wickets each. England won the first match in the two-game series.
