WWE Smackdown: UK Start time, live stream, confirmed match card and Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony

WrestleMania weekend officially begins on Friday as WWE Superstars gear up for the biggest event of the year
Smackdown appearance: John Cena
WWE

The final WWE Friday Night Smackdown episode before WrestleMania 41 will feature John Cena.

Cena, who headlines 'WrestleMania Sunday' in an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes, has not been seen on WWE television since being laid out by Rhodes on Monday Night Raw last month.

However, business is sure to pick up as both Cena and Rhodes will both be in the building at the same time, ready to deliver their final words before the hugely anticipated title bout.

To whet the appetite of the WWE Universe before the showcase of the immortals, the Tag Team Championships will be on the line as The Street Profits defend against The Motor City Machine Guns.

This rivalry dates back to WWE Royal Rumble 2025 when Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins cost Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin a victory in their two-out-of-three falls match against then-champions DIY.

Though such is the nature of the tag division on Smackdown that DIY, Pretty Deadly and Los Garza are likely to be keeping a close eye on developments.

Meanwhile, a six-women tag team match has been announced as Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green teams with Piper Niven and Alba Fyre to take on the trio of Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance.

As it's WrestleMania weekend, a tradition will return in the form of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Braun Strowman, Bronson Reed, and Jey Uso have been victorious in this match before, showing what it can do for a Superstar's career.

Immediately following Smackdown, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place with the headline induction being that of Triple H. Also, a new 'Immortal Moment' category for the Hall of Fame has been unveiled and this honours historic and influential matches.

The first induction in this new category is the Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin no disqualification submission match from WrestleMania 13.

Here's everything you need to know about the April 18h episode of WWE Smackdown.
