Xiaomi Mi 3 features a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display along with 2GB of RAM for all your multitasking and 16 or 64GB of non-expandable storage, so be careful which version you get. This thing is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz which comes with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics rendering. On the back of this device you can find a 13-megapixel shooter which is flanked by a dual-LED flash, there's also a 2-megapixel snapper up front. Mi 3 packs a 3050mAh non-removable battery and ships with Android 4.3 JellyBean with Xiaomi's MIUI 5.0 on top of it. The device measures 144 x 73.6 x 8.1mm and weighs 145 grams.

Alright, here's the thing, you'll hardly find a cheaper phone carrying these specs out there. Nexus 5 is certainly also a great option, don't forget that one. However, if you're looking a non-Google smartphone Xiaomi Mi 3 is certainly something you should pay attention to and consider. The phone really does carry a lot of punch for the price, it would be a formidable option even if the price was higher. This device is, of course, not for everyone though. MIUI is something people like or hate, though this is Android and you really can make it look any way you want. Mi 3 offers great performance and looks at a really affordable price point, that's it.
