There have been some reports flying in from sources that are in the loop claiming that the rumored Motorola DROID Pro will simply be a clone of the current DROID 2, but it will consist of a HSPA and GSM radio for global communication around the world wherever there is a GSM carrier. We all know how Verizon with their device branding. The name DROID Pro may not fly. There hasn’t really been a time or any information whether other features will be included or neglected upon it’s arrival. This may be just a ploy to be able to sell the Droid 2 to other people on other carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. No word on the price either. Only time will tell. If you were able to buy a GSM version of the Droid 2 and use it on your network at an unsubsidized rice would you?
