Cricket is selling their first android phone, the Kyocera Zio online. Some of the features include 3G, wifi, bluetooth, 3.2 camera with with video recording, and a microSD slot. The Zio, unfortunately, will come with Android 1.6 with plans of upgrading. The Zio is priced at $249.99, but if bought on their website, you will receive a $20 discount, according to Android Community. However, right now the phone is backordered as of 10 this morning.
Recently, Cricket announced that it aims to offer nationwide service as it has signed an agreement with Sprint/Nextel to use their network. Cricket plans to offer another unnamed Android phone from Huawei.
